As an off-grid homestead, we do a little bit of a lot of things, and “By Hand” as much as possible. We have handmade goat milk soaps and shampoo bars, grass-fed tallow body balms, lip balms, salves and candles and more, all with an emphasis on local and animal-based ingredients. We also offer our own raw alpaca fleece and sheep wool, tanned sheepskins, teas and tinctures, and much more.

Goat Milk Soaps
We make a variety of handmade soaps, mostly goat milk-based. Before I started selling soap, I had no idea that it could literally be life-altering. But commercial soaps can have a multitude of additives, and are so drying, that quality handmade soap can truly change lives! The many grateful messages and hand-written thank-you notes, make me proud that I can provide this resource for those that need it.
Raw Fleece and Wool
We have a small herd of alpacas and also raise 2 breeds of sheep, Tunis and Hog Island. Both are listed with the Livestock Conservancy as heritage breeds, with Tunis being “watch” and Hog Island considered “critical”.
We sell all 3 fibers as raw skirted wool, and when available, the sheep wool is also sold in ready-to-spin roving. We participate in the SE2SE program (Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em) to promote raising diverse breeds of sheep, fighting back against the mono-culture mentality of Big Ag that leads to the extinction of many lesser-known breeds.
Prepping wool for sale is often one of the less-pressing tasks on my project list, so contact me directly if you are looking for any of these fibers and we appear to be sold out. I have many many fleeces, I just often don’t find the time to skirt and list them unless motivated!
Tallow + Beeswax Candles
Our tallow candles are one of the simplest products we offer - these are simply 75% hand-rendered local beef tallow and 25% beeswax. We use sustainable American-made wooden wicks, with a comforting crackling burn, in upcycled glass jars or recyclable metal tins. All our fragrances are phthalate-free, and of course the wooden wicks are free of any metals and chemicals that some cotton wicks have.
Teas, Tinctures, Etc
We offer a small selection of teas from both home-grown and wild-foraged ingredients. Several of our teas are based on fig leaf, both plain and with additions such as mint and sumac.
We also offer elderberry tincture made from wild-foraged local elderberries. This is known to be a great immune support tincture for colds and such, and I also use it for alleviating my symptoms from Trigeminal Neuralgia (contact me for further information if you’re interested).
Salves, Balms + Lip Balms
We use our hand-rendered grass-fed and grass-finished beef and sheep tallows for body and face salves, as well as tallow body balms and lip balms with beeswax and butters.
The salves, with just tallow and a bit of oil, are a slightly softer texture that will soak into skin faster and not leave a “greasy” feel, while the balms, with beeswax and butters, are a bit thicker and waxier. These will “stick” longer on skin, for those who enjoy a more lasting texture.
Custom Orders
I love doing custom orders, so if you have specific needs/desires such as a 100% lard bar soap, or a shampoo bar with no lard, or a lip balm with no plant oils, just let me know.
I have added several products to my standard line-up simply because enough folks asked for it that I decided to make it permanent, so don’t hesitate to ask! Examples of this are the carnivore deodorant, 100% lard liquid soap, liquid soap in general, and multiple different scents or lip balm flavors.
