Alpaca Felted Goat Milk Soap 4 oz - Hand-Dyed or Natural Alpaca Wool Scrubbie Soaps

$12.50

Wrapped in our own alpaca fleece, this bar comes with a built-in cloth! The fleece is lightly felted, and will continue to felt and shrink as it's used, making a great lather and scrubbing cloth.  In keeping with our farm motto, "By Hand", we do everything here on Solace Farm, by hand, from the soapmaking to the wool prep to the dying to the felting.

Choose any of the available fragrances - I have 3 base recipes - one vegetarian version, one with just lard and coconut oil, and one with both lard and tallow as well as several luxurious vegetable oils.  Each soap will be labelled with the exact ingredients.

Fleece color will vary somewhat - any of the natural colors my alpacas come in (white, tan, reddish-brown, chocolate-black, and gray) or one of the unique, hand-dyed shades I've made just for this (lavender, grape, pale turquoise, orange, sunshine yellow, or whatever fun shade I've discovered recently!).  Specify natural or dyed and include a note if you have a preference or dislike, such as “no orange!!” or “it’s for a guy”. I'll try to accommodate that, and if you order more than one I'll make them different colors within the same category.

When the soap is finished, simply toss the remaining felt ball in the compost (it's a great protein/nitrogen boost), or follow one customer's lead, and use it to scrub your grout first!
