Raspberry Vanilla Confetti Soap with Grass-fed Tallow + Pastured Lard

from $8.00

Simple lard soap, scented with a luscious raspberry vanilla fragrance, which goes so well with the rosy-red confetti flecks. The largest bar I make (up to almost 7 oz!), this bar was created to help me not waste anything - a while back, I changed the recipe for my lip blush tubes, so I concocted a recipe to turn the remaining old-recipe lip blush into soap. Once that cured, I shredded that resulting deep red soap, and then added it into a fresh batch of my lard and coconut oil soap made with my goat milk. Since they used to be tinted lip balms, the confetti bits have beeswax, cocoa and shea butters, and olive and almond oils, as well as local grass-fed beef tallow rendered here at Solace Farm, and some red mica and iron oxide natural colorant. These bars are an ergonomic oval shape, made by pouring them in Hershey's cocoa containers (did I mention I don't like to waste things!)

These hand-cut bars vary slightly in weight so I have sorted them into 2 sizes, either 5-6 oz or 6-7 oz - really nice big bars! - and are packaged in a brown paperboard windowed box.
